The surface comprises hard packed trails and canal tow paths with some sections of tarmac.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>While the event is part of the Burton &amp; District Summer League it is very much an open race with anyone aged 16 or over on race day eligible for entry.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>There will also be a 1 mile fun run at 10am before the main race takes place and will cost \u00a32.50 to enter. Any runners under 9 will need to be accompanied by an adult.<\/p>\n<p>The main race start time is 10:45am costing \u00a39 for affiliated runners and \u00a311 for unaffiliated runners.
