\nSouth Derbyshire Road Runners have joined the Star foundation\u2019s\u00a0Rags2Riches Recycling campaign to raise money for the Club to\u00a0help purchase new equipment, kit and to help in our running costs.
\nWe are having our first collection on the evening of\u00a04th June, so please collect as much clothing, shoes, belts, hats,\u00a0bed linen, bags, books, videos & CDs\/DVDs (scratches or damage don’t matter)\u00a0between now and then from friends and family.
\nA Star Foundation van will be in the car park at Greenbank from 6:30pm onwards to collect bags.
\nThere is an individual Prize from the Star Foundation so bring in as\u00a0much as you can and make sure you put your name\u00a0on your bags to win.
\nThrough our joint efforts: the club will benefit,\u00a0you will benefit,\u00a0the community will benefit,\u00a0the environment will benefit.
\nAs a result of club members buying the recently offered Adidas running equipment the club\u00a0helped the Star Foundation raise just over \u00a31200 which goes straight back into schools, clubs and the community.
