Leading the way was Shane Chapman, who confirmed his excellent current fitness by recording a superb 1.24.54 for a brilliant 14th place out of the 267 who completed the course. After a good performance in the recent Manchester Marathon, Christian Glover showed how much he’s benefitted from the experience by recording a really creditable 1.32.59 for 35th place. Andy Orme & Steve Leafe both continued their good recent form and close rivalry by finishing in 1.33.33 & 1.34.16 & 40th and 43rd places respectively.
