{"id":2479,"date":"2015-07-02T09:01:22","date_gmt":"2015-07-02T09:01:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sdrr.co.uk\/?p=2479"},"modified":"2015-07-02T09:01:22","modified_gmt":"2015-07-02T09:01:22","slug":"sdrr-committee-meeting-minutes-wednesday-24th-june-2015","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sdrr.co.uk\/?p=2479","title":{"rendered":"SDRR Committee Meeting Minutes &#8211; Wednesday, 24th June 2015"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\t\t<strong>Present:\u00a0\u00a0 Inge Moore, Malcolm Moore, Andy Hawtin and Christina Hawtin,\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Apologies:\u00a0 Roger Barraclough<\/strong><!--more--><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minutes of previous meeting on 20\/05\/15 were approved.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Run in the Forest<\/strong> 5 mile race booked for next year at Waterside Centre, Conkers for Sunday, 17<sup>th<\/sup> April 2016.<\/li>\n<li>A meeting with Chris Conway, Country Parks Events Co-ordinator for Leicestershire Council to be arranged to discuss licencing by the Local Authority for use of Donisthorpe Woodland Paths.<\/li>\n<li>A Sub-Committee will be formed to organise Race and Fun Run as this worked well last year.<\/li>\n<li>Next year one proposal is to add Age Group Prizes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Presentation Evening <\/strong>booked for Saturday, 16<sup>th<\/sup> January 2016 at the Waterside Centre, Conkers.<\/li>\n<li>The Club will again subsidise the event.<\/li>\n<li>Details will be posted nearer the event.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Prediction Run <\/strong>organised by Andy and Chrissy Hawtin set for Wednesday, 8<sup>th<\/sup> July 2015 at Albert Village Lake.<\/li>\n<li>Details to be posted on Website and SDRR Facebook Page \u2013 announcements at club nights to back this up to be made.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Washland Relays <\/strong>were a big success this year with 44 Club Members competing. The club financed all Team Entry Fees.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>LRRL Meeting Outcomes <\/strong>\u2013 Inge Moore gave a brief summary of the recent Leicester League Meeting.<\/li>\n<li>New Race Entry Fee for Winter League Races will be \u00a35 per person to cover increasing race costs e.g. hall hire, road closure permits, chip timing etc.)<\/li>\n<li>A VET60 category will be included for the first time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Christmas Handicap Run <\/strong>to be organised again by Chris Mason on Wednesday, 16<sup>th<\/sup> December 2015 followed by prize presentations and Christmas Drinks at the Nigel Gresley afterwards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Financial Update <\/strong>was presented by Malcolm Moore who gave a brief summary of the Club\u2019s Finances which show that the club currently has a sound financial base with \u00a32,800 in the Club Accounts.
