  1. Apologies<\/strong>:- non required.<\/li>\n
  2. Minutes of previous meeting<\/strong> [ 24th<\/sup> June] \u2013 approved.<\/li>\n
  3. Run In The Forest 2016<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
      \n
    • Local Authority Licence yet to be obtained & \u00a350 admin charge for such now<\/li>\n
    • Risk Assessment etc all okay<\/li>\n
    • We can go ahead also now with `run Britain` licence<\/li>\n
    • Entry Fees. \u00a38 & \u00a310 on day. Fun Run, \u00a32<\/li>\n
    • Race Capacity:- Agreed we try for 300 runners approval instead of just 200<\/li>\n
    • Prizes\/Goody Bags:- Still to have `spot` prizes. To ask `Running Form` to supply plastic bags. Basics in goody bags & as at this point no race memento to be planned.<\/li>\n
    • We plan to organise some promotional leaflets handed out by Leics Council [ action Chrissie]<\/li>\n
    • Fun Run advert can be e-mailed to schools \u2013 just change Fee & Date on last years details.<\/li>\n
    • Age Category prizes to be advised<\/li>\n
    • Licence number to be put on entry forms for `on line` entries<\/li>\n
    • Prizes:- 1st<\/sup> Male & Female =\u00a320. Age category winners =\u00a310. 2nd<\/sup> & 3rd<\/sup> finishers prizes still to be finalised?<\/li>\n
    • Age category ages will be as used for the Burton League races.<\/li>\n
    • Maybe we can offer `team` prizes \u2013 4 counters mens & 3 counters ladies?<\/li>\n
    • Maybe a `cake` stall can be accommodated \u2013 for a `Conkers` nominated charity?<\/li>\n
    • Equipment :- might require a new stopwatch & more `numbers`. We have `fun run` medals from last year to use up.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      1. Presentation Evening<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
          \n
            \n
          • To be held on 16th<\/sup> January 2016 at same venue as last year \u2013 Conkers. We are to advertise at the club to the different running groups.<\/li>\n
          • Malc will do spreadsheet reference people who have paid once monies start coming in.<\/li>\n
          • Past `old`\/ex club members can be invited to attend as last year<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ol>\n

            1. LRRL Meeting Update<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                \n
              • Main information is that `Winter League` Races are agreed but no dates provided yet. Barrow, Markfield, Kibworth, Stilton, Desford. When we receive the LRRL meeting official minutes the dates should be revealed<\/li>\n
              • Summer League races will be voted upon at next meeting[19th<\/sup> October]. Malc will accompany secretary on that evening as 2 delegates from each club are required for voting purposes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                1. Cross Country<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                    \n
                  • The first race is on 11th<\/sup> October so we should have confirmed races & Dates from Dave Mann soon – as he advised this information would be out 1month before the 1st<\/sup> race!<\/li>\n
                  • Parking \u2013 car sharing essential \u2013 meet & load up at Greenbank on race days.<\/li>\n
                  • Team captains on the days are Andy & Chrissie \u2013 agreed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                    1. Any Other Business<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                        \n
                      • Dave York has commented that a lot of people at the club are not always known by name as difficult with new arrivals in the separate groups. Photos with names on our website was his suggestion.<\/li>\n
                      • Who would administer this ?<\/li>\n
                      • Was discussed & not implemented because<\/li>\n
                      • Club Members can use the existing Communication Channels e.g<\/li>\n
                      • Attend Club Nights<\/li>\n
                      • Attend Club Events<\/li>\n
                      • Join the SDRR closed Facebook Group<\/li>\n
                      • Annual Club Camping Trip<\/strong>:- Steve & Wendy not available to organise in 2016. Possibly Mark Coombes & Adrian could be asked to take over the task as a joint effort?<\/li>\n
                      • Pitches need to be booked `early` to get what we want & a pitch is `one tent`<\/li>\n
                      • To start asking members early 2016 to see how many will be interested.<\/li>\n
                      • Outside Advertising on our website<\/strong>:- No \u2013 keep just to our sponsors.<\/li>\n
                      • Membership Fees for rest of this season<\/strong>:- as we are half way through our financial year our club fee will reduce to \u00a35 as of this meeting. Till end of February 2016 new competing members will pay \u00a35 + \u00a312 UKA Affiliation & non competing\/walkers will pay just the \u00a35.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
