Chris Pearson, who has run superbly all season, led the Club\u2019s runner\u2019s home in 16<\/span><sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: medium\"> place before he received his well-deserved series prize for winning the MV40 category. Another consistent scorer, Andy Hawtin was next in 26<\/span><sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: medium\"> before cross country debutant, Tom Bradley, ran well for 45<\/span><sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: medium\">. Andy Windle &amp; John Morgan had a close battle as they finished in 59<\/span><sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: medium\"> &amp; 63<\/span><sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: small\">rd<\/span><\/sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: medium\"> places respectively before Andy Orme, one of a number of team stalwarts, crossed the line in 80<\/span><sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: small\">th <\/span><\/sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: medium\">place. Colin Mee utilised his long languid stride to make steady progress through the field to finish in 89th with Tom Eyre, continuing his improvement, finishing in 99th. Adrian Middleton, battling well after recently tackling the 26 miles of the Belvoir Challenge, finished in 112<\/span><sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: medium\"> with Romain Chambard &amp; James Cobb giving everything in finishing in 121<\/span><sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: small\">st<\/span><\/sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: medium\"> &amp; 127<\/span><sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: medium\"> places respectively. Paul Glover &amp; Steve Fowler, two others who recently tackled the long route of the Belvoir Challenge, showed no ill effects in finishing in 153<\/span><sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: small\">rd<\/span><\/sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: medium\"> &amp; 159<\/span><sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: medium\"> places. Gary Price continued his path back to full fitness with 169<\/span><sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: medium\"> place before the tightest inter-club battle saw Mark Nixon\u2019s 183<\/span><sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: small\">rd<\/span><\/sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: medium\"> just edging out Richard Ward in 184<\/span><sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: medium\">. Stuart Reeves &amp; Dave Renshaw completed the Club\u2019s finishers in the men\u2019s race as they crossed the line in 187<\/span><sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: medium\"> &amp; 192<\/span><sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: small\">nd<\/span><\/sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: medium\"> places respectively.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: medium\">After undergoing a frustrating, injury blighted season, Christina Hawtin showed what the Club\u2019s women\u2019s team have been missing as she finished here in 4<\/span><sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: medium\"> place in the women\u2019s race with Caley Parnell, giving valuable support, finishing in 29<\/span><sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: medium\">. Lisa Wright, another who has been a consistent performer across the series, finished in 46<\/span><sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: medium\"> with Kerry Ward &amp; Inge Moore giving everything in finishing in 118<\/span><sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: medium\"> &amp; 130<\/span><sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: medium\"> places respectively.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: medium\">Mixing it with some of the best in the country, Louise Insley, continued her excellent recent form as she completed the Trafford 10k in a superb 38:05, a time also good enough to clinch 1<\/span><sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: small\">st<\/span><\/sup><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri;font-size: medium\"> place in her age category.<\/span>\t\t<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Champion show!
