From: Dethick Hall Car Park, Hartshorne Village (At the junction of Manchester Lane & Woodville Road opposite the Bulls Head)
Start Time: 10am
Distance: Approx 8.5 miles
Route: From Dethick Hall to Repton Bottoms and back. Relatively hilly, taking in views of Foremark Reservoir and Caulkey Wood on the return leg. The slightly bad news is there is no tea-room or pub for a lunch stop but Repton Bottoms is sheltered and is half way so likely we’ll stop there for much needed sustenance.
The very good news is that Jacqui & Paul have very kindly offered a hot drink or……… a beer and mince pies at their house at the end of the route.
