On Wednesday evenings we meet at Greenbank Leisure Centre from 6.45pm, aiming to leave for our runs at 7pm. We cater for beginners as well as seasoned pro’s during our sessions by offering several options on our training nights.

The Groups

There are four groups on our Wednesday evening sessions with a rough outline below. No runner is tied to one group and you can join the group that suits your needs each week.

Social Group: For new or experienced runners who just want to go for a jog and a chat along the way over a distance of 3-4.5 miles depending on the ability of runners that attend each week.

Structured Training – Lower: For runners who want to add some structure to their training. Sessions rotate between the following categories: Speed work, Hill work & 5-5.5mile run.

Structured Training – Intermediate: For runners who want to add some structure to their training. Sessions rotate between the following categories: Speed work, Hill work & 10km run. It offers a slightly more intense option compared to the lower group.

Interval Training: A structured training program of interval training sessions. The range of sessions include short intervals, hills sprints, tempo runs, threshold work, speed endurance and much more. This group meets at Conkers Discovery carpark.
