We have a maximum of 24 attending memberships available to ensure athlete to coach ratios are in line with guidelines. Fee structure can be seen in the table below and Runs 1st April – 31st March. Payment 1 is made when your application is successful, subsequent payments are made every 3 months. If you join part way through the membership year, you won’t need to pay all 4 installments. For example, joining halfway through the year would mean payment 1 and 2 are due only.

Should no spaces be available at the time of application, we will offer your child a place on our waiting list and inform you once a space becomes available. The waiting list will be formed based on the date of receipt of your membership form.

The main focus of training will be aerobic endurance for long term athlete development whilst also working to improve speed, running form, and economy.

At SDRR we follow the child safeguarding policy outlined by England Athletics. In doing so we endeavour to:

  • keep children and young people safe by valuing, listening to and respecting them
  • promote the wellbeing of children through opportunities to take part in athletics safely
  • put in place policies and procedures to promote the wellbeing and protection of children
  • recruit, train and support all our staff and volunteers to prioritise the safety of children who take part in our activities.

The policy includes national safeguarding contact details and links to other organisations that provide further information.
