Thanks for all of the suggestions for longer races during autumn. The adding of the Tamworth 10 miler to the BDSL series on 15th September means we now have at least one more additional ‘longer’ race.
By way of variation and to give us a championship across a range of distances I’ve included any Parkrun performance between August and the end of November as a qualifying race.
Lastly, you’ll see that the Burton 10 miler has been resurrected over a new course starting from Burton Albion FC on 19th May. My understanding is that its not a BDSL race. The date clashes with the West End 8, which is the last race in the 2013 LRRL series.
People will make up their own minds about where, if anywhere, they run but our usual stance is to support the race series we enter as a Club and the races in our Club Championship
