Palma Half Marathon 2017

There were 9 runners from the Club in the Palma half marathon, which once again was run in very warm conditions. In a field of just under 4,000 runners the club had 7 finishers in the top 250, a great showing in such a large race . Continue reading →

Tamworth 5

Champion finale!!!
Sunday’s Tamworth 5 was the latest race in this year’s Club Championship and the last race in the 2017 Burton and District Summer Road Racing League (BDSL). It was also the race where the Club’s men clinched the team prize in this year’s series after the Club’s women had already secured their respective trophy with a race to spare. Continue reading →
