Worthington 5
Mercifully, while hot, it was a few degrees cooler for the Worthington 5 than for other recent races. This latest leg of the Burton and District Summer League over a flat ‘out and back’ course along the Cloud Trail was significant in the Club’s continued domination of both the individual and team prizes. St Giles, Gate Gallop 10k
Onwards and upwards!!!!
The sun continues to blaze and, together with a rutted, off road course, contributed to relatively slow 10k times but what didn’t change were the Club’s runners at the sharp end of the field in Sunday’s St Giles Hospice, Gate Gallop. Continue reading →

Bosworth XC and Retford HM
Consolidation is the name of the game!!!
26 runners from the Club made their way to the Bosworth Battlefield site for the final race in this year’s Derby Runner XC Series. While injuries, illness and competing priorities meant that a number of the Club’s highest finishers were missing it was the strength in depth that looks like it consolidated the mixed and men’s team in 4th place in Division 1 and the women’s team in a superb 2nd place in the 2nd Division of the women’s league.
