Have a clear out, make some space, in with the new out with the old.
South Derbyshire Road Runners are turning your unwanted items into funds for the Club and the local Community.
South Derbyshire Road Runners have joined the Star foundation’s Rags2Riches Recycling campaign to raise money for the Club to help purchase new equipment, kit and to help in our running costs.
We are having our first collection on the evening of 4th June, so please collect as much clothing, shoes, belts, hats, bed linen, bags, books, videos & CDs/DVDs (scratches or damage don’t matter) between now and then from friends and family.
A Star Foundation van will be in the car park at Greenbank from 6:30pm onwards to collect bags.
There is an individual Prize from the Star Foundation so bring in as much as you can and make sure you put your name on your bags to win.
Through our joint efforts: the club will benefit, you will benefit, the community will benefit, the environment will benefit.
As a result of club members buying the recently offered Adidas running equipment the club helped the Star Foundation raise just over £1200 which goes straight back into schools, clubs and the community.
Thank you in advance for your efforts any questions please contact your Coach or use the contact us page.
