SDRR 30th anniversary camp trip.
Steve & Wendy are in the process of organising a family camping trip to Callow Top in Ashbourne. The site is family friendly, has an outside pool and safe climb area, a kids bar come disco, a pub for the grown ups and full facilities. There are 7 fields of which all consist of a play zone in the centre for football, cricket, rounders etc firepits and bbq’s are allowed on this site so if you have one bring it. Steve knows the area well & is planning a few good runs for all abilities both on and off road. There is also the Tissington Trail for anyone that wants it flat & bike hire is also available. Ashbourne is a fifteen minute walk along the footpaths if you fancy a little look around or shop.Having checked with Callow Top site, there are two dates possible these are. Aug 8th and 9th or the15th and 16th. Steve & Wendy have provisionally booked 20 pitches for both weekends, so we have to have names, numbers and preferred weekend by next Wed (club night) please. It will be based on first come first served, and majority rule for which weekend is chosen.Booking forms are being sent to Steve this week, and he will hand them out on Wed night. So let Steve know if you are interested & which weekend suits you best.
