Beginners guide to the Derby Runner XC League

Cross-Country Information
For all of those wishing to cover themselves in mud, water and glory please note that the X-Country Season is nearly upon us & Inge has produced the following guidance for those new to the Club & the event.
Please refer to the website for the fixtures.
All those competing members wishing to run should turn up at the event and find the Team Manager for the day. Car sharing will be available from the Green Bank Leisure Centre and details will be posted on the website prior to each race.
The Team Manager will collect the race fee of £3.00 per race.
You must wear a South Derbyshire Road Runners Club vest.
No running number is required.
Upon finishing you will collect a disc which will show your finishing position. Hand this disc to your Team Manager who will log and record it for the team results.
A full list of results will then be issued by the Derby X-Country League.
This year the club will be erecting a Gazebo to change in,  keep dry and warm. Again for the first time this year there will a supply of tea, coffee and cake at the finish for all SDRR runners. A rota will be arranged.
