Five of the Club's finest ran in the Sneyd Striders 10 mile race on a chilly Sunday morning and everyone placed well in a field of 380 runners. First home for the Club, with a big personal best, was the ever improving Chappers Jnr, finishing 23rd in a time of 62.16, followed home by Chappers Snr. in 48th with a time of 66.05. Next home for the Club was Steve Leafe in a time of 69.30 which gave him 77th place, followed closely by another top 100 finisher, Dave Eyre, who was 92nd in 70.54. After a busy year’s racing, Gary Price was pleased to finish in 79.18, which earned him 181st position. (From our reporter on the spot…..Steve Leafe)
