Walking on 27th December 2014. All very welcome. Meeting at 10.00am at Dimminsdale. Best way to the car park from Swadlincote is Clock Garage, right towards Ashby, left at Water Tower, Heath Lane, down Pistern Hill and keep going. The car park is on the right after passing the reservoir on the left. Route, of about 8.5 miles, has been slightly altered from that published originally, follows the Ivanhoe Way & includes the all important pub stop at The Ferrers Arms at 5 miles on the Breedon Road. Walk then returns via good gravel tracks through Jaguar Lount Woods and Staunton Harold to the Car Park at Dimminsdale.
