Thank you to all volunteers who helped today at the Annual SDRR Race held at Conkers.This was a big event for the club as we had a new Run Route and included a Fun Run for the very first time. The event was a roaring success and feed back from the Race Adjudicator/Referee was very complimentary to our Race Organisation.
Several other clubs commented on a great run route and supportive marshals throughout. This event could not have happened without the many club members who gave up their valuable time for the past 6-8 months in finding a suitable course and gaining all the necessary permissions required. Not forgetting the volunteer marshals who gave up their race and time today to help their club. The club raised a significant profit which will help keep our membership fees to one of the lowest in the area.
