- Minutes of previous meeting [ 24th June] – approved.
- Run In The Forest 2016
- Local Authority Licence yet to be obtained & £50 admin charge for such now
- Risk Assessment etc all okay
- We can go ahead also now with `run Britain` licence
- Entry Fees. £8 & £10 on day. Fun Run, £2
- Race Capacity:- Agreed we try for 300 runners approval instead of just 200
- Prizes/Goody Bags:- Still to have `spot` prizes. To ask `Running Form` to supply plastic bags. Basics in goody bags & as at this point no race memento to be planned.
- We plan to organise some promotional leaflets handed out by Leics Council [ action Chrissie]
- Fun Run advert can be e-mailed to schools – just change Fee & Date on last years details.
- Age Category prizes to be advised
- Licence number to be put on entry forms for `on line` entries
- Prizes:- 1st Male & Female =£20. Age category winners =£10. 2nd & 3rd finishers prizes still to be finalised?
- Age category ages will be as used for the Burton League races.
- Maybe we can offer `team` prizes – 4 counters mens & 3 counters ladies?
- Maybe a `cake` stall can be accommodated – for a `Conkers` nominated charity?
- Equipment :- might require a new stopwatch & more `numbers`. We have `fun run` medals from last year to use up.
- Presentation Evening
- To be held on 16th January 2016 at same venue as last year – Conkers. We are to advertise at the club to the different running groups.
- Malc will do spreadsheet reference people who have paid once monies start coming in.
- Past `old`/ex club members can be invited to attend as last year
- LRRL Meeting Update
- Main information is that `Winter League` Races are agreed but no dates provided yet. Barrow, Markfield, Kibworth, Stilton, Desford. When we receive the LRRL meeting official minutes the dates should be revealed
- Summer League races will be voted upon at next meeting[19th October]. Malc will accompany secretary on that evening as 2 delegates from each club are required for voting purposes.
- Cross Country
- The first race is on 11th October so we should have confirmed races & Dates from Dave Mann soon – as he advised this information would be out 1month before the 1st race!
- Parking – car sharing essential – meet & load up at Greenbank on race days.
- Team captains on the days are Andy & Chrissie – agreed.
- Any Other Business
- Dave York has commented that a lot of people at the club are not always known by name as difficult with new arrivals in the separate groups. Photos with names on our website was his suggestion.

- Annual Club Camping Trip:- Steve & Wendy not available to organise in 2016. Possibly Mark Coombes & Adrian could be asked to take over the task as a joint effort?
- Pitches need to be booked `early` to get what we want & a pitch is `one tent`
- To start asking members early 2016 to see how many will be interested.
- Outside Advertising on our website:- No – keep just to our sponsors.
- Membership Fees for rest of this season:- as we are half way through our financial year our club fee will reduce to £5 as of this meeting. Till end of February 2016 new competing members will pay £5 + £12 UKA Affiliation & non competing/walkers will pay just the £5.
