Steve Leafe recently posted on the club Facebook page details of the Hairy Helmet relay and it's been agreed that the Club will fund the entry fee for this event. It takes place on the above date at 7.15pm and is run for teams of 4 people each running legs of just over 2 miles. Teams can be female, male or mixed and vet (total age 160 plus or 200 plus for supervets). It sells out pretty quick but Steve can get pre-entries in and add details of each runner later. There are 140 team places left. If Steve can get a feel for those who are interested over the next few days – say by next Wednesday he can pre enter a few teams to get us in the race. It’s a fun event with a real mix of abilities.
