Travelling to Ashdown Forest in Kent last weekend were club members Mark Harriott and Nikki Reeves. The event organised by Saxons, Normans and Vikings marathons consisted of a trail and undulating off road circuit of 5.3 miles with runners completing as many laps as they liked within the 6hr time limit. Running together to celebrate Marks 50th marathon the pair opted for marathon distance and completed the 26.2 miles which included 2,800ft of climb in 5hr25m. This earned the pair joint 14th place overall and Nikki finishing 3rd Lady.
