  • Minutes of previous meeting on 20/05/15 were approved.
  • Run in the Forest 5 mile race booked for next year at Waterside Centre, Conkers for Sunday, 17th April 2016.
  • A meeting with Chris Conway, Country Parks Events Co-ordinator for Leicestershire Council to be arranged to discuss licencing by the Local Authority for use of Donisthorpe Woodland Paths.
  • A Sub-Committee will be formed to organise Race and Fun Run as this worked well last year.
  • Next year one proposal is to add Age Group Prizes.
  • Presentation Evening booked for Saturday, 16th January 2016 at the Waterside Centre, Conkers.
  • The Club will again subsidise the event.
  • Details will be posted nearer the event.
  • Prediction Run organised by Andy and Chrissy Hawtin set for Wednesday, 8th July 2015 at Albert Village Lake.
  • Details to be posted on Website and SDRR Facebook Page – announcements at club nights to back this up to be made.
  • Washland Relays were a big success this year with 44 Club Members competing. The club financed all Team Entry Fees.
  • LRRL Meeting Outcomes – Inge Moore gave a brief summary of the recent Leicester League Meeting.
  • New Race Entry Fee for Winter League Races will be £5 per person to cover increasing race costs e.g. hall hire, road closure permits, chip timing etc.)
  • A VET60 category will be included for the first time.
  • Christmas Handicap Run to be organised again by Chris Mason on Wednesday, 16th December 2015 followed by prize presentations and Christmas Drinks at the Nigel Gresley afterwards.
  • Financial Update was presented by Malcolm Moore who gave a brief summary of the Club’s Finances which show that the club currently has a sound financial base with £2,800 in the Club Accounts. This will enable the club to offer assistance concerning Training, future relay events and continue to subsidise the Presentation Evening whilst keeping Club Fees to the lowest in the area.
