Worksop Halloween Half Marathon

Stuart battles through
It was back to the roads for the Club’s contingent of 26 as they lined up with over 2500 others on Sunday for the Worksop Halloween Half Marathon. Snowdonia Marathon Eryri & Dartmoor Vale Marathon

Saturday 28th saw three of our runners take on the tough challenge of the Snowdonia Marathon.   The race starts and finishes in Llanberis,  features some 2,800ft of climb over the tough 26,2 mile course and is a good test for any runner over what is a very scenic route. Continue reading →

Bagworth Heath – Race 1

The road shoes were temporarily put away last weekend and the cross country shoes and spikes given a quick clean as the annual mud fest of the Derby Runner Cross Country League got underway at Bagworth Heath. 35 runners from the Club lined up with over 500 others to tackle the notoriously heavy course.   Continue reading →
